Week 11 - Slight Adjustments

This week was a lighter week due to the cache and render times for all of the elements. I was giving notes on fixing the stepping issue in the impact smoke trail. There needed to be more impact from the dust and sand towards screen right as my simulation was currently more upwards. I needed to tweak the animation to drag the storm trooper and create a more chaotic flow to the shot. I added color variation in the sparks as well.


I could not get to the tiled sand part but I plan to adhere all texturing, lighting, and environment work at the end after my effects are solid. After the effects are solid, I can really spend time perfecting the lookdev for everything.

Week 12 - Close to Crunch Time

With only 2 weeks left, I am not happy with my Capstone. These next 2 weeks I will be focusing on making this Capstone look great in terms of photorealism and the effects intertwining for that realism
